Description

Perform electrical and mechanical testing and repairs on medical device equipment within a regulated service line.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs and electrical mechanical testing on medical devices following documented standard work instructions.
• Document all findings and maintenance records accurately into the system of record.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble and disassemble devices.
• Conduct tests and calculate data using test aids to ensure units function within specifications.
• Perform scheduled calibration of test stations and equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Required Skills

• Ability to follow SOPs and strict work instructions.
• Proficiency in data entry and navigating multiple application systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Competency in basic mathematics.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, and use fine and gross motor manipulation.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs regularly, and up to 42lbs when performing shipment preparation.
• High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Skills

• Previous electrical mechanical assembly, repair, or testing experience.
• Proficiency with hardware and assembly tools such as screwdrivers and pliers.
• Knowledge of testing tools including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, hipot testers, and pressure gauges.
