Description

Manage the administration, configuration, and overall health of the ServiceNow platform. Own the release cycle and system upgrades occurring three times per year.

Responsibilities

• Perform core administration tasks including user administration, security, workflows, and data management.
• Configure ServiceNow instances by personalizing forms, creating applications, modules, tables, and activating plug-ins.
• Build reports, gauges, homepages, and manage Service Catalog requests, items, and workflows.
• Execute data imports, use update sets for customizations, and build third-party software integrations.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and facilitate the rollout of new modules.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience translating complex end-user requirements into code.
• 2+ years of experience with Web Technologies including XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, and HTTP.
• 2+ years of experience with web applications, networks, protocols, and email (SMTP, POP3).
• 2+ years of experience with ITIL v3 methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience understanding enterprise IT architecture.
• 2+ years of experience with relational databases and database manipulation via a programming language.
• Proven ability to manage technical application configuration and answer "how-to" queries.
• Strong time-management and record-keeping skills.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ServiceNow implementation experience.
• Experience with LDAP directories (Active Directory, eDirectory, OpenLDAP) and Single Sign-on (SAML 1.1, SAML 2.0).
• Experience with Web Services integrations.
