Description

You will design and build custom scoped applications on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring upgrade-safe development patterns and strict adherence to coding standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom scoped applications using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Data Policies, and UI Actions.
• Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise systems (IAM, HR, Finance, Risk, Monitoring) using IntegrationHub, Spokes, and MID Servers.
• Manage data exchange workflows including imports, transforms, error handling, retries, and logging.
• Implement security models using roles, ACLs, and scoped access controls to enforce data integrity and user permissions.
• Collaborate with architects and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions and reusable frameworks.

Required Skills

• 6–10+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on ServiceNow development.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, ServiceNow APIs, Flow Designer, and Workflows.
• Proven experience designing and developing custom scoped applications from scratch.
• Strong understanding of App Engine Studio, UI Builder, Workspaces, Service Portal, or Next Experience.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and client-side scripting concepts.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is mandatory.
• Experience defining and enforcing development standards, naming conventions, and reusable frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
