Description

Architect, design, and implement ServiceNow modules including CMDB, SPM, SAM, and APM/EA. Own platform customization and extension through scripting, automation, and API development. Manage integrations with external systems such as SAP Ariba, cloud platforms, and enterprise tools. Maintain CMDB health via normalization, reconciliation, and data certification. Enforce CSDM standards to ensure data consistency across business services. Develop technical documentation, runbooks, and deployment guides. Support UAT, SIT, and production release validation. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on architectural standards. Collaborate with business analysts and SMEs to define scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ServiceNow modules (CMDB, SPM, SAM, APM/EA).
  • Customize platform capabilities using JavaScript, REST APIs, and SOAP.
  • Manage integrations with third-party systems like SAP Ariba and cloud platforms.
  • Enforce CSDM standards and maintain CMDB accuracy through data certification.
  • Mentor junior developers and support release planning and stabilization.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years as a ServiceNow developer with strong knowledge of CMDB and SPM.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, REST APIs, and SOAP.
  • Experience designing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow applications.
  • Knowledge of CSDM standards and configuration management best practices.
  • Ability to map business requirements to technical solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Orchestration and automation capabilities.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and ITSM best practices.
