Description

• The architect needs to bring well-rounded development experience and the ability to guide a small team of developers and QA engineers.
• The architect needs to also be able to lead/mentor the developer team and help explain certain aspects of a design, etc.  The candidate should have ServiceNow certifications.
• End-to-end technical solution design, integrity, and compliance. Translate business requirements into technical design and architecture. Define integration approach, data model, security, and platform best practices. Provide oversight and guidance to development team. Liaise with client technical teams and address technical escalations. Stay engaged throughout delivery for governance and key decisions.
• Defines technical architecture, ensures platform health, and handles high-level system design and development
• Design and build of integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
• Skills in implementation for specific scope ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, CSM
• Implement complex business logic, custom applications, and integrations.
• Review code, enforce standards, and optimize performance.
• Act as technical escalation points for developers.
• Guide technical approach for ambiguous or high-risk items.
• Develop and configure core ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Build workflows, business rules, UI policies, script includes, and ACLs.
• Perform peer code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Design integration patterns (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.).
• Develop and secure APIs, transform data, and handle error logging.
• Collaborate with external teams on integration specifications.
• Monitor and optimize integration performance
