Description

Lead the design, implementation, and strategic oversight of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Responsibilities

• Architect the ServiceNow CMDB in alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and enterprise IT strategy.
• Design and implement ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping solutions to automate dependency mapping and population.
• Develop and enforce CMDB governance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data quality and lifecycle management.
• Define CI classes, attributes, and relationships to accurately represent IT services and infrastructure.
• Drive continuous improvement of CMDB health through audits, reporting, and proactive remediation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically Discovery and CMDB.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and scripting using JavaScript and GlideScript.
• Strong experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via APIs and MID Servers.
• Deep understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and IT governance frameworks.
• Expertise in CMDB governance and data integrity management.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with ITSM and ITOM teams to integrate CMDB data into broader IT processes.
