Description

Manage and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB to ensure data accuracy across IT infrastructure, applications, and services. You will own the integrity of configuration items and drive automation for data population and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Implement best practices to maintain interrelated configuration items (CIs) and ensure data completeness.
• Develop and implement automated processes for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data.
• Administer ServiceNow Service Mapping and Discovery tools, including updating configurations for deeper network penetration.
• Create and validate service maps for ITS applications to ensure proper monitoring of nodes and connections.
• Establish CMDB governance models, define KPIs, and perform regular auditing and status reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in an Information Technology focused role.
• 3+ years of experience specifically in CMDB and Asset Management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical certification.
• Solid understanding of Configuration Management practices and principles.
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping tools.
• Ability to coordinate physical inventory and track hardware device lifecycles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
• Valid Driver’s license for required travel.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow CSDM experience.
• ITIL Foundation or higher-level certification.
• ServiceNow Administrator certification.
