Description

You own the strategy, architecture, and governance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on ServiceNow CMDB strategy, governance, and operational practices.
• Optimize and govern ServiceNow Discovery schedules to ensure accurate Configuration Item population and troubleshoot gaps.
• Lead CMDB data quality and remediation efforts, collaborating with CI and asset owners to resolve data gaps.
• Execute end-to-end CMDB operational processes, enforcing data standards, policy controls, and governance frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow CMDB structure, CI classes, CI relationships, and lifecycle governance.
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting ServiceNow Discovery schedules and managing IRE sources.
• Proficiency in integrating data via Import Sets, APIs, and IntegrationHub ETL.
• Experience optimizing tag-based and dynamic Service Mapping using ServiceNow Discovery and Service Graph Connectors.
• Ability to perform data certifications, tagging audits, and stale CI retirement.
• Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, and SAMp/HAMp module integrations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with APIs and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of CMDB management and lifecycle automation.
