• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to scoped application

development standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 - 6 years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow

development

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs (GlideRecord, GlideAjax, GlideForm,

GlideSystem)

• Experience with ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB) - additional

experience in ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, or CSM is a plus

• Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Workflow Editor

• Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scoped applications, update

sets, and application scope management

• Experience with REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML, and third-party integrations

• Knowledge of Service Portal, Widgets (HTML, CSS, AngularJS), and UI Builder

• Familiarity with ACLs, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies/Actions

• Understanding of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping (preferred)

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Preferred / Good to Have

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - mandatory

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - highly preferred

• Additional micro-certifications (CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM, CIS-HR, etc.)

• Experience with performance analytics and reporting

• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow (e.g., Automated

Test Framework, source control integration)

• Prior experience working in a client-facing or consulting environment
