Description

You will design and implement Business Application Lifecycle Management (BALM) capabilities within ServiceNow, ensuring end-to-end visibility of application portfolios. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and extend ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture modules, including Application Portfolio Management, CMDB, and ITBM/SPM.
• Define and maintain application lifecycle states, standards, and governance models aligned with enterprise architecture practices.
• Integrate ServiceNow with upstream and downstream systems to ensure accurate, real-time lifecycle data.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to support decision-making on application health, cost, usage, and lifecycle stage.
• Drive automation of lifecycle workflows, including onboarding, assessment, modernization, and retirement processes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow development or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture and/or Application Portfolio Management (APM).
• Strong expertise in Business Application Lifecycle Management (BALM) concepts, processes, and implementation.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs) and platform configuration.
• Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue).
• Solid understanding of application portfolio governance, lifecycle states, and rationalization methodologies.
• Experience working with CMDB, data models, and service mapping.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, APM, or Enterprise Architecture-related).
• Experience with API integrations, microservices, or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).
