Job Description: We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in platform customization, configuration, and automation. The candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or other enterprise modules, along with deep understanding of scripting, workflow design, and system integrations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional IT and business teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and configure custom applications, modules, workflows, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform. Implement and support ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, and Knowledge Management. Develop UI Pages, UI Macros, Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer automations. Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub. Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, testing, and deployment of new features and enhancements. Ensure platform compliance, governance, and alignment with ITIL best practices. Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and support knowledge base. Work closely with the ServiceNow Admin and Product Owner to maintain platform health and scalability. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes. Technical Skills: Core: ServiceNow Development, JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Flow Designer, Catalog Items, Notifications, Reports, ACLs, and Data Policies. Integrations: REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, JDBC, LDAP, and Web Services. Modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CMDB, Service Catalog, Discovery, and Asset Management. Tools & Practices: Agile/Scrum Methodology, Version Control (Git), ATF, Update Sets, and System Diagnostics. Databases & OS: Basic SQL, Linux, Windows environments. Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills: ServiceNow Certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, or equivalent. Experience with App Engine Studio or Custom Scoped Applications. Familiarity with Service Portal, Virtual Agent, or Mobile App Builder. Exposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure) and DevOps pipelines. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Soft Skills: Problem-solving and logical reasoning. Strong documentation and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines. Team player with proactive and customer-focused approach
