Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced solutions on the ServiceNow platform, emphasizing Software Asset Management (SAM) and seamless SaaS integrations.
Customize ServiceNow applications by developing workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and robust data integrations to address complex business requirements.
Work closely with business analysts and cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Drive continuous improvement of ServiceNow functionalities, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability across all modules.
Oversee the end-to-end implementation of the ServiceNow SAM module, including discovery, normalization, reconciliation, compliance, and optimization processes.
Configure and manage SAM features to monitor software usage, license compliance, entitlements, contracts, and procurement workflows.
Integrate SAM data with ITSM/ITOM modules to enable comprehensive asset lifecycle management and reporting.
Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics to deliver actionable insights on software inventory, usage trends, and compliance status.
Collaborate with procurement, compliance, and IT teams to ensure asset management strategies align with organizational policies and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, including SAM, ITSM, and ITOM modules.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow development tools (Studio, Flow Designer, etc.).
Strong knowledge of software asset management best practices, licensing models, and SaaS integrations.
Experience developing and customizing ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or ServiceNow SAM Specialist certification strongly preferred
