Description

You will implement ITOM requirements for a new ServiceNow implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement automated processes and workflows for ITOM applications: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Operational Intelligence, and Cloud Management.
• Automate processes and workflows for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data.
• Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery MID servers, patterns, sensors, probes, Discovery IP ranges, and schedules.
• Configure integrations with other data sources and Cloud Discovery, ensuring discovery and integrations populate the CMDB.
• Interface with customer team members to capture business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of development experience on the ServiceNow platform with expertise in ITOM.
• 6+ years of practical experience designing and building ServiceNow Service Mapping.
• Keen understanding of ITIL framework and industry best practices (ITIL v3 or v4).
• Strong comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow Discovery, including Cloud Discovery and CMDB population.
• ServiceNow Admin/Developer experience (certifications preferred).
• Experience with Agile SCRUM methodology.
• Strong knowledge of protocols: HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST.
• System administration experience using SHELL/BASH and/or Power Shell.
• Familiarity with XML and JSON/script language concepts.
• Knowledge of tools such as HCL BigFix, SCCM, JAMF, SolarWinds, SPLUNK.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IT Asset Management and CMDB integration.
