Description

You will design, build, and maintain ITOM solutions within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on discovery, service mapping, and CMDB management.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement ITOM requirements including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.
• Automate workflows for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data.
• Configure and maintain MID servers, patterns, sensors, probes, and discovery schedules.
• Integrate with external data sources and Cloud Discovery to ensure accurate CMDB population.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical ServiceNow solutions.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of development experience on the ServiceNow platform with deep ITOM expertise.
• 6+ years of practical experience designing and building ServiceNow Service Mapping.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow Discovery, Cloud Discovery, and CMDB population strategies.
• Working knowledge of the ITIL framework (v3 or v4) and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow Admin/Developer tasks; certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Agile SCRUM methodology.
• Strong knowledge of protocols: HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST.
• System administration experience using Shell/Bash and/or PowerShell.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IT Asset Management and CMDB integration.
• Familiarity with tools such as HCL BigFix, SCCM, JAMF, SolarWinds, or Splunk.
