Description

You will design, implement, and maintain the CMDB and discovery processes within the ServiceNow platform.

Since is_remote, hybrid, and on_site are all 0, no work-mode line is included.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CMDB schemas that align with organizational standards and data modeling requirements.
• Configure the ServiceNow Discovery module to ensure accurate data collection across network and infrastructure technologies.
• Define, classify, and maintain Configuration Items (CIs) to ensure data integrity within the CMDB.
• Write and optimize JavaScript to automate CMDB processes and enhance platform functionality.
• Integrate the CMDB with external tools and systems to maintain data consistency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
• Deep expertise in CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Asset Management.
• Strong proficiency in ServiceNow core platform functionalities and modules.
• Advanced JavaScript scripting skills for automation and process enhancement.
• Proven experience with Service Mapping and configuration management.
• Technical knowledge of network and infrastructure technologies.
• Understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles and practices.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to analyze complex data structures and relationships within the CMDB.
• Familiarity with change management processes and their impact on configuration data.
