Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and a strong background in JavaScript-based development within the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform using hands-on coding.
Configure and customize core applications including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, etc.
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, or MID Servers.
Write efficient, modular, and reusable JavaScript code for Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs.
Implement Service Portal widgets and custom UI using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow APIs.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
Conduct code reviews and unit testing to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Maintain technical documentation and adhere to ServiceNow development standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and platform errors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
Experience with ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Service Portal.
Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and use of IntegrationHub or custom integrations.
Solid understanding of data models, ACLs, flow designer, and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
Experience in developing Custom Applications and leveraging App Engine Studio is a plus.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, etc.) are desirable
