Description

Define and own the ServiceNow technical architecture, ensuring alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and federal compliance standards. Lead hands-on development of custom scoped applications and complex integrations while establishing platform governance and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Architect the ServiceNow platform to minimize technical debt and ensure alignment with CSDM and industry best practices.
• Design and develop custom scoped applications, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Client Scripts using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
• Implement FedRAMP-compliant security protocols, including advanced ACL configurations, data encryption, and secure coding standards.
• Lead integrations with third-party systems using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, MID Servers, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Establish development standards, conduct code reviews, and partner with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years of deep technical expertise in ServiceNow development and architecture.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow tools (Studio, UI Builder, Service Portal).
• Proven experience in FedRAMP or similarly regulated government cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of CMDB and IT Operations Management (Discovery, Service Mapping) in a public sector context.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM or ITOM.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Master Architect (CMA).
• ITIL v4 Foundations and Security+ certifications.
