Job Summary:

The ServiceNow Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend integrations between ServiceNow and external systems. The role focuses on building reliable data integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, and relational databases such as SQL Server. The developer will also create automation, data ingestion pipelines, and transformation logic to ensure seamless data exchange and system reliability.

Experience: 6–8 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and JDBC where required.
• Build and manage integration endpoints, data mappings, and transformation logic for inbound and outbound integrations.
• Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and retry mechanisms to ensure integration reliability and traceability.
• Develop and maintain Import Sets and Transform Maps for accurate data ingestion and normalization.
• Build and enhance ServiceNow solutions using server-side scripting such as Business Rules and Script Includes.
• Develop automation solutions using Flow Designer and custom scripts aligned with ServiceNow platform standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex integration and scripting issues across multiple environments.
• Design and execute automated data flows between ServiceNow and relational databases such as SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and data synchronization.
• Perform data analysis for reconciliation, data completeness validation, and performance tuning of integration pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and MID Server integrations.
• Experience building integrations using Import Sets, Transform Maps, and data transformation logic.
• Strong experience in server-side scripting including JavaScript, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and data synchronization.
• Knowledge of JDBC connections and database integration patterns.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
