Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend integrations between ServiceNow and external systems, focusing on reliable data exchange and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ServiceNow integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and JDBC.
• Build integration endpoints, data mappings, and transformation logic for inbound and outbound data flows.
• Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and retry mechanisms to ensure traceability and reliability.
• Develop Import Sets, Transform Maps, and server-side scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes) for data normalization.
• Design automated data flows between ServiceNow and SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and synchronization.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and MID Server integrations.
• Proficient in server-side JavaScript, including Business Rules and Script Includes.
• Experience building integrations using Import Sets, Transform Maps, and complex data transformation logic.
• Strong experience with relational databases, specifically SQL Server, including queries and stored procedures.
• Knowledge of JDBC connections and database integration patterns.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across multiple environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow platform best practices and integration governance.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale integration environments.
