Description

Define the technical, functional, and architectural blueprint for implementing SAM Pro within the enterprise ServiceNow environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end SAM Pro architecture within a broader ESM ecosystem context.
• Develop target architecture covering data foundation, normalization, reconciliation, and SW discovery maps.
• Architect integration solutions between SAM Pro and external systems like SCCM, JAMF, Flexera, and Workday.
• Guide business analysts, SAM specialists, and developers on design decisions and compliance.
• Define governance standards and KPIs for ongoing SAM operations and lead SAM evolution.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of ServiceNow platform experience with strong exposure to ITSM, SAM Pro, CMDB, Discovery, and software catalog.
• Deep understanding of SW licensing models, including SaaS and On-Prem for EUC and DC software.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL and ITAM processes.
• Expertise in defining data models for SW Models, license metrics, and contracts.
• Experience ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, data governance, and security controls.
• Familiarity with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and platform performance tuning.
• Ability to validate SW discovered data supporting SAM reconciliation and test cases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SaaS and On-Prem licensing for both EUC and DC software.
• Strong background in data governance and enterprise architecture standards.
