Description

You will design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions, focusing on Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) lifecycles.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure SAMPro modules, including table customization and reclamation workflows for unused software.
• Design and manage the end-to-end HAM lifecycle, from sourcing and procurement to deployment, retirement, and disposal.
• Develop ServiceNow customizations using Client-side scripts (UI Policy, Client Script, UI Actions) and Server-side scripts (Business Rules, Scripted Includes).
• Configure workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor, and manage Service Catalog items.
• Ensure data integrity between the CMDB and Asset Management Database (AMDB) by analyzing CI sources and resolving data issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) process implementation.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow SAMPro modules and ITAM tables.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Jelly, SQL, XML, and JSON for scripting and data manipulation.
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, ADDM, BigFix, and SCCM integration.
• Strong functional understanding of SAM and HAM processes, including gap analysis and solution design.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external tools via SOAP/REST APIs.
• Knowledge of data loading techniques, including Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Scheduled Jobs.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow Discovery.
• ServiceNow certifications in SAM, HAM, or ITOM.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies.
