Description

You will design, implement, and maintain Hardware Asset Management (HAM) solutions across the end-to-end lifecycle, from sourcing and procurement to deployment, retirement, and disposal. You own the data integrity of the Asset Management Database (AMDB), ensuring accuracy between the CMDB and asset records through discovery, integration, and continuous monitoring.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement HAM solutions for the complete asset lifecycle, including sourcing, purchase, deployment, and disposal.
• Ensure data integrity and quality of asset records by analyzing CI sources, discovery data, and procurement systems.
• Build and customize ServiceNow modules, including reports, dashboards, and SR development using JavaScript, Jelly, and SQL.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external tools (ADDM, BigFix, SCCM) via SOAP/REST APIs to federate data into the CMDB.
• Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders to define requirements, perform gap analysis, and resolve asset data issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience implementing Hardware Asset Management (HAM) processes.
• Strong functional understanding of SAM and HAM processes.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow customization, including JavaScript, Jelly, and SQL.
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and integrating with tools like SCCM, BigFix, or ADDM.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using SOAP and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of ITOM concepts and CMDB maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• SAM, HAM, or other ITOM mainline certifications.
• 5+ years of specific experience with ServiceNow Discovery.
