Description

You will implement and manage ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB functionalities to ensure accurate IT infrastructure visibility.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure the ServiceNow Discovery tool to identify and collect configuration items (CIs) across IT infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, defining data governance policies to ensure integrity and quality.
• Develop and maintain discovery patterns and probes to capture data from diverse IT resources.
• Customize ServiceNow using JavaScript and Angular to enhance discovery and CMDB capabilities.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB Specialist.
• Proven expertise in configuring ServiceNow Discovery and managing CMDB projects.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Angular for platform customization.
• Hands-on experience with REST API and SOAP API integrations.
• Strong knowledge of discovery methodologies, protocols, and data modeling.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data synchronization and reconciliation issues.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
