Key Responsibilities
✅ Own the complete hardware asset lifecycle from procurement through retirement
✅ Manage inventory accuracy, stockroom operations, deployments, transfers, and disposal processes
✅ Lead Discovery and CMDB reconciliation efforts to eliminate orphaned and duplicate assets
✅ Conduct hardware audits and maintain accurate asset records aligned with procurement and ownership data
✅ Manage Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) including entitlement tracking, normalization, reconciliation, and compliance
✅ Support software publishers including:
• Microsoft
• Oracle
• IBM
• Adobe
• VMware
✅ Identify software license risks, compliance gaps, and optimization opportunities
✅ Prepare and manage software vendor audit defense activities
✅ Track renewals, subscriptions, maintenance agreements, and utilization metrics
✅ Ensure software license recovery during hardware retirement and disposal processes
✅ Improve CMDB and asset data quality through governance and process enforcement
Required Qualifications
✔️ 5+ Years of dedicated ITAM experience spanning both HAM and SAM
✔️ 3+ Years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro
✔️ Strong expertise in:
• Hardware Asset Management
• Software Asset Management
• IT Asset Lifecycle Management
• Vendor Compliance & Audit Readiness
✔️ Deep knowledge of licensing models for:
• Microsoft
• Oracle
• IBM
• VMware
✔️ Strong understanding of:
• ServiceNow CMDB
• Discovery
• IRE (Identification and Reconciliation Engine)
✔️ ServiceNow CIS-ITAM Certification or equivalent hands-on expertise
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ IAITAM CAMP or CITAM Certification
⭐ ServiceNow ITOM Experience (Discovery & Service Mapping)
⭐ JavaScript / GlideScript Development Experience
