Description

Own the complete IT asset lifecycle, from hardware procurement to software compliance and CMDB governance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full hardware asset lifecycle, including inventory accuracy, stockroom operations, deployments, and disposal.
• Lead Discovery and CMDB reconciliation efforts to eliminate orphaned and duplicate assets.
• Administer Software Asset Management (SAM Pro), covering entitlement tracking, normalization, and compliance.
• Conduct hardware audits and maintain accurate records aligned with procurement and ownership data.
• Prepare for and manage software vendor audit defense activities for Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, and Adobe.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of dedicated ITAM experience spanning both HAM and SAM.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro.
• Deep knowledge of licensing models for Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, and VMware.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and IRE (Identification and Reconciliation Engine).
• ServiceNow CIS-ITAM Certification or equivalent hands-on expertise.
• Experience with vendor compliance, audit readiness, and license recovery during hardware retirement.

Preferred Skills

• IAAITAM CAMP or CITAM Certification.
• ServiceNow ITOM Experience, specifically Discovery and Service Mapping.
• JavaScript/GlideScript development experience.
