Description

Define and own the end-to-end ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and upgradeability. Act as the technical authority across multiple ServiceNow product implementations and agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement ServiceNow modules including CMDB (CSDM v5), ITSM Pro+, ITOM, Discovery, Integration Hub, and SPM.
• Drive automation-first design using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, RPA Hub, and AI/ML capabilities.
• Design and govern CMDB architecture, ensuring data accuracy, reconciliation, and lifecycle management aligned with ITIL best practices.
• Oversee integrations between ServiceNow and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and event-driven patterns.
• Technically lead agile development teams, translating business outcomes into scalable technical designs and delivery roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of overall IT experience with deep hands-on expertise in ServiceNow Zurich release.
• Proven experience designing and implementing at least 2 complete ServiceNow instances covering multiple product families.
• Strong expertise in CMDB architecture, CSDM v5, ITSM Pro+, ITOM, and Discovery.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs) and data modeling.
• Experience with Integration Hub, Workflow Data Fabric (WDF), and Flow Designer.
• Knowledge of Python, APIs, and creating custom automation flows.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise-scale automation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence architecture decisions and lead without authority.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect.
• ITIL v4 certification and ServiceNow CIS certifications (ITSM, ITOM, SPM).
