Description

You own the operational health, governance, and data accuracy of the SACM Configuration processes and CMDB.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform CMDB data analysis, research, troubleshooting, and enrichment to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Lead root cause investigations and drive resolution for process or data issues.
• Mature ITSM CSDM practices, hierarchies, and ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module use cases.
• Manage relationships with data owners and stakeholders to implement integration interfaces with Discovery, Asset Management, and other sources.
• Execute CMDB data audits, reporting governance, and data certification programs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in configuration management or related roles.
• Deep expertise in CMDB data governance and analysis.
• Experience with SACM Configuration Service Catalog items and workflows.
• Knowledge of ITSM CSDM (Common Services Data Model) practices.
• Ability to collaborate with Business Analysts and ITSM Developers.
• Experience managing data alignment and lookup methods within ServiceNow.
• Background in driving reporting governance through dashboards and statistics.

Preferred Skills

• Maintain SACM Configuration Service Catalog items and support onboarding of new Business Services into the CMDB.
• Maintain a custom in-house CMDB application through process engineering and requirements gathering.
