Description

You will own the stability, performance, and engineering standards of the ServiceNow platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Optimize platform performance for high-volume workflows, large data sets, and automation demand.
• Define and enforce technical standards for maintainable, upgrade-safe platform engineering.
• Strengthen delivery practices through version control, automated testing, and deployment discipline.
• Improve platform observability and health monitoring to detect issues earlier.
• Prioritize remediation of technical debt and legacy patterns that constrain scale.

Required Skills

• 5+ years' experience in ServiceNow platform engineering, software engineering, or technical operations.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and runtime bottleneck resolution.
• Hands-on experience improving maintainability, scalability, and observability in complex environments.
• Proven ability to balance delivery speed with control, supportability, and long-term platform integrity.
• Experience establishing engineering practices that improve stability under production load.
• Ability to reduce customization sprawl through sound platform design and architectural discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience supporting service-centric or Service-Aware operating models.
• Familiarity with platform lifecycle management, observability practices, and engineering governance.
