Description

You will serve as the subject matter expert for ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping, configuring processes, integrating external tools, and maintaining CMDB integrity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping workflows.
• Integrate external tools to federate data into the CMDB.
• Troubleshoot product installations, credential management, and permission issues.
• Collaborate with network engineers to resolve connectivity and firewall concerns.
• Administer Windows and Unix environments to support platform requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a large IT organization.
• 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, WMI, SSH, SNMP, REST, and SOAP.
• Strong command of JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
• Intermediate to deep understanding of Ruby and Java.
• Experience with RegEx and network concepts (routers, switches, firewalls, NAT, load balancing).
• Solid Windows and Unix administration skills.
