CMDB ( Configuration Management Database): Responsible for maintaining CMDB data accuracy and CI relationship integrity.
Domain Separation: Managing multi-tenant environments, domain-specific configurations, visibility rules, update set handling, and troubleshooting domain conflicts.
Platform Administration & Configuration: Perform day-to-day administration, including managing the technical configuration of the platform, building forms, and creating reports and dashboards.
User Management & Security: Manage user accounts, roles, and access control lists (ACLs) to ensure appropriate access levels and platform security.
Maintenance & Upgrades: Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance and error identification/remediation, and manage the planning and execution of platform upgrades and patches.
Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as a primary support resource for end-users and support teams, investigating, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues (incidents) related to the platform.
Workflow & Automation: Gather requirements from stakeholders and implement minor enhancements, such as creating or modifying service catalog items and automated process flows/workflows (often using Flow Designer or JavaScript).
Documentation & Training: Create and maintain technical and user documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures, and assist with training end-users and other staff.
Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, project managers, business users) to align the platform with organizational goals and contribute to continual service improvement initiatives within ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management, etc.).
Strong proficiency in configuring ServiceNow modules (ITSM required; ITOM, HRSD, SecOps a plus).
Must have Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Domain Separation.
Solid understanding of IT operations concepts, relational databases, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, organisational, and communication skills are essential for interacting with technical teams and non-technical users alike.
