Roles and Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end SharePoint migration activities (pre-migration assessment, migration execution, and post-migration validation) for SharePoint Online.
• Run migrations using ShareGate, including incremental migrations and cutover support, while managing multiple migration waves/sites concurrently.
• Conduct site discovery and pre-migration assessments; identify risks such as permissions complexity, unsupported content, and storage issues.
• Validate migration results for files, permissions, and structure; troubleshoot failed/partial migrations and re-run jobs as needed.
• Work directly with site owners, information stewards, and business users; communicate migration approach, timelines, and expectations, and address post-migration queries.

Skills Required:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in SharePoint migration delivery and validation.
• SharePoint Online migration experience (mandatory), including migration lifecycle execution.
• Hands-on ShareGate usage for configuring and running migration jobs.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint site structures (sites vs subsites/modern architecture) and permissions models/inheritance.
• Ability to handle migration challenges (large volumes, throttling, unsupported components) and deliver accurate post-migration validation.

Good to Have:

• AvePoint experience (e.g., Fly, Cloud Governance, reporting).
• Experience with legacy SharePoint migration (2010/2013) or file share migrations.
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise migration programs with multiple concurrent waves.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
