Description

Execute end-to-end SharePoint migration activities for SharePoint Online, including pre-migration assessment, execution, and post-migration validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Run migrations using ShareGate, managing incremental migrations and cutover support for multiple concurrent waves.
• Conduct site discovery and pre-migration assessments to identify risks such as permissions complexity and unsupported content.
• Validate migration results for files, permissions, and structure; troubleshoot failed jobs and re-run as needed.
• Communicate migration timelines and expectations to site owners and business users, addressing post-migration queries.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in SharePoint migration delivery and validation.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online migration lifecycle execution.
• Proficiency with ShareGate for configuring and running migration jobs.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint site structures (sites vs subsites/modern architecture) and permissions inheritance.
• Ability to handle large volumes, throttling, and unsupported components.
• Experience with legacy SharePoint (2010/2013) or file share migrations.

Preferred Skills

• AvePoint experience (e.g., Fly, Cloud Governance, reporting).
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise migration programs with multiple concurrent waves.
