Description

You will develop and maintain shell scripts within a Linux/Unix environment, managing data with Oracle SQL and handling middleware integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize shell scripts for Linux/Unix systems.
• Manage data using Oracle-oriented SQL.
• Handle middleware technologies including FTP and MQ messaging systems.
• Utilize monitoring tools and incident management systems to maintain stability.
• Operate within the ITIL framework or similar service management best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in shell scripting within Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, specifically Oracle-oriented syntax.
• Experience with middleware technologies such as FTP and MQ messaging.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and incident management systems.
• Working knowledge of the ITIL framework.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in multicultural environments.
• Proven ability to work independently and respond to technical incidents.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Citrix environments.
• Experience with job schedulers, specifically Mainframe Scheduler TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler for z/OS).
