Description

Develop and maintain shell scripts and complex SQL queries in a Linux/Unix environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot shell scripts in Linux/Unix environments.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, primarily for Oracle databases.
• Support and monitor batch jobs using job scheduling tools.
• Utilize monitoring tools and incident management systems for rapid issue resolution.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and service improvement initiatives aligned with ITIL.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of proven work experience in a related field.
• Strong proficiency with Shell Scripts in Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, specifically Oracle environments.
• Understanding of middleware technologies including FTP and MQ.
• Experience with monitoring tools and incident management workflows.
• Good understanding of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Experience with Citrix.
