Description

You will build and maintain scalable e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform, owning the full lifecycle from theme development to performance optimization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Shopify themes, templates, and core store functionality using Liquid.
• Customize themes and integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend platform capabilities.
• Implement responsive, mobile-first UI/UX designs in collaboration with design teams.
• Optimize site performance and load times to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues within Shopify stores.

Required Skills

• 3 to 7 years of experience as a Shopify Developer.
• Proficiency in Shopify platform architecture and Liquid programming language.
• Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with jQuery for DOM manipulation and interactions.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WooCommerce, Magento, or other e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with React or Vue.js frameworks.
