Description

You will manage application support, maintenance, and enhancements for Shopify-based brands.

Responsibilities

• Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues to provide prompt feedback and resolutions.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problems while ensuring SLA compliance and proper escalation.
• Develop code for enhancements following agile methodologies and strict coding standards.
• Create SOPs for incidents to drive up first-call resolution for L1 teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and story pointing alongside business analysts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Expertise in Liquid, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Proficiency with AJAX, JSON, and ReactJS.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify CMS, AJAX API, Metafields, and the Shopify theming system.
• Experience with Shopify theme development and customization.
• Strong understanding of DOM, responsive web design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Proven ability to implement and debug 3rd party Shopify apps.
• Experience with page speed optimization, SEO, and CRO.
• Ability to use Jira for incident management and resolution documentation.
• Maintain at least 80% unit test coverage and ensure code passes SONAR or relevant tool checks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an agile environment with PR review processes.
