Description

You will develop and test security use cases within a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security use cases, correlation search queries, reports, and dashboards.
• Execute testing procedures for existing and new security alerts to ensure accuracy.
• Support the migration to a cloud SIEM tenant by testing and migrating use cases.
• Analyze security logs to identify data patterns that drive threat detection decisions.
• Document the development and testing lifecycle of security use cases with precision.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in security engineering.
• Developer-level proficiency in Splunk, including creating efficient and performant correlation search queries.
• Intermediate experience with AWS services.
• Strong ability in security log analysis and analyzing use case requirements.
• Experience working with JIRA or similar agile-based platforms.
• Ability to communicate project status and deliverables across multiple teams.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AWS CloudTrail and GuardDuty.
• Experience in the financial or banking services domain.
