Description

Lead simulation, validation, and troubleshooting of signal and power integrity for next-generation consumer hardware systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering test plans for signal integrity simulation and validation methodologies.
• Perform high-speed interface and PDN simulations, measurements, and lab validations to correlate results with design specifications.
• Create scripts to automate workflows and test system configurations.
• Drive failure analysis, root cause efforts, and design of experiments using simulation and lab data to propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with EE designers, system validation engineers, and vendors to establish hardware specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in signal integrity simulation and measurement.
• Strong understanding of signal and power integrity fundamentals, impedance control, and transmission lines.
• Experience with PCB and flex design and manufacture processes.
• Hands-on experience using high-speed lab equipment and PHY compliance test fixtures.
• Proficiency in creating automated scripts for test systems and workflows.
• Experience with Ansys HFSS, Q3D, Cadence Sigrity, PowerSI, Ansys SIwave, and Keysight ADS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
• Experience with high-speed interface protocols for PSRAMs, Flash, and MIPI.
• Familiarity with consumer hardware design, bring-up processes, and CAD constraint managers.
