Description

You will execute silicon validation and characterization for high-speed, low-power CMOS D2D and SERDES interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Bring up, validate, and characterize high-speed D2D and SERDES blocks in new and existing silicon chips.
• Develop test methods to evaluate performance and calculate operating margins of high-speed serial interfaces across various conditions.
• Write software routines in Python or C/C++ to validate D2D and SERDES IPs and integrate drivers.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve testability and define test infrastructure logic.
• Analyze test results and document findings to provide technical recommendations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with D2D and SERDES platforms.
• Proven experience in bringing up, validating, and characterizing high-speed D2D and SERDES blocks.
• Expertise in developing test methods for evaluating performance and operating margins of serial interfaces.
• Proficiency in writing software routines using Python or C/C++ for IP validation and driver integration.
• Knowledge of high-speed D2D and SERDES architectures, including NRZ and PAM4.
• Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and BERTs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SERDES calibration and signal integrity.
• Familiarity with high-speed protocols such as UCIe, Ethernet, and PCIe.
• Ability to write comprehensive test reports and analyze boundary conditions.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience working with D2D and SERDES platforms. • Knowledge of high-speed D2D and SERDES architectures (e.g., NRZ, PAM4) and protocols. • Experience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and BERTs. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
