Description
You will own hardware modeling and verification for silicon chip architecture, developing bit-exact C/C++ models and executing test plans with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Develop compression and non-compression IP models using C/C++ in a Linux environment.
- Perform functional, stress, and system testing to identify, root-cause, and track complex bugs.
- Conduct architectural assessments of model behavior and tradeoffs.
- Update existing C models to align with broader architecture specifications.
- Participate in specification and design reviews while working independently on open-ended problems.
Required Skills
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience with C and C++.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience working with silicon chips or hardware verification.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience with bit-exact modeling.
- Proficiency working in Linux and Windows environments.
- Strong understanding of hardware architecture, HW modeling, and architectural tradeoffs.
- Ability to execute tests and deliver models with little to no supervision.
- Experience seeing a project through from start to finish.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Matlab for verification tasks.
- Proven track record of working independently on large-scale projects.
