Description

You will develop and maintain internal simulation and optimization tools to support customer development. Your work involves applying random vibration theory to solve complex structural problems and performing system identification of structural systems under dynamic loading.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal simulation and optimization tools.
• Apply random vibration theory to solve complex structural problems.
• Perform system identification of structural systems under dynamic loading.
• Estimate fatigue using random vibration methods.

Required Skills

• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering focusing on structural dynamics and vibration, or a Master's degree with significant industry experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in simulation and optimization.
• Deep knowledge of random vibration and its underlying theory.
• Experience with system identification of structural systems under dynamic loading.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Solid understanding of fatigue estimation using random vibration.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the Dirlik method for fatigue estimation.
• Experience with C++ or C#.
