Description

You will design, code, and maintain components to ensure system reliability, scale, and availability for large-scale services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design low-level components and task breakdowns to meet product requirements.
• Write modular, extensible, and performant code using appropriate data structures and tech stacks.
• Develop deep understanding of non-functional requirements including availability, scale, and horizontal scalability.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Build abstractions and contracts with separation of concerns for large-scale scopes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
• Extensive programming experience in Java, Python, Ruby, Clojure, Scala, C, C++, or SQL.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Experience with multi-threading and concurrency programming.
• Ability to manage complex business flows and large volumes of data.
• Experience working in agile environments or with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and design principles.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building robust and scalable web applications.
• Background in Reliability Engineering.
