Description

You will bridge the gap between development and production by automating processes to detect and prevent software reliability issues.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Automate manual processes using code to improve application resiliency.
• Split time between runtime support (toil) and development automation work.
• Diagnose and optimize software code for reliability and performance.
• Triage incidents and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Implement SRE practices within microservices delivery and cloud migrations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall professional experience.
• 3-4 years of hands-on proficiency in Java (required), NodeJS, Kotlin, Python, or Go.
• Experience with automated testing tools including JMeter, JUnit, Mockito, and Postman.
• Proficiency with source code management using Git or SVN.
• Experience configuring and maintaining AWS infrastructure (EC2, Fargate, CloudFormation, RDS, ElastiCache, S3).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or NOI.
• Experience with DevOps automation tools like Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Scripting skills in Linux Bash and Windows.
• Knowledge of incident management processes using ServiceNow or Jira Service Desk.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with software frameworks like JEE, Spring, React, or Angular.
• Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of dark deploy techniques and feature toggles.
