Manage system uptime and reliability for cloud-native and hybrid architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage system uptime across AWS and GCP cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
• Build Infrastructure as Code patterns using Terraform, cloud CLIs, and SDKs.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for application and cloud architecture deployment using Jenkins and cloud-native toolchains.
• Create automated tooling for production service requests and maintain detailed runbooks for detection, remediation, and restoration.
• Triage complex distributed architecture issues, lead blameless postmortems, and improve MTTR.

Required Skills

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g., physics, mathematics), or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, systems administration, database administration, or networking.
• 1+ years of experience developing or administering software in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Java, JavaScript, and/or Node.js.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Chef, or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and Linux/Windows system administration.
• Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge in storage, networking, security, and databases.
• Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud certification.
• Experience with high-visibility AI projects.
