Description

You will ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of global-scale infrastructure components.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Guide architecture and development teams on building highly available and performant applications at scale.
• Partner with architecture teams to integrate operability, measurability, and manageability into business features.
• Collaborate with product owners to implement and monitor metrics required to meet SLOs and SLAs.
• Drive root cause analysis for production issues across software, pipelines, and DevOps processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in automation programming with Python.
• 7+ years of experience with Linux terminal tools and shell scripting.
• Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes containerization.
• Strong experience in Linux and Cloud administration, specifically with AWS.
• Deep understanding of Unix/Linux OS internals and administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, routing, and network topologies.
• Experience with storage systems and database administration, including configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Proficiency in debugging, code optimization, and automating routine tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL or relational database systems and knowledge of database query languages.
• Understanding of Debian-based systems.
