You will build and maintain the infrastructure for secure and efficient service communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop a reliable and resilient multi-cloud globally-connected network supporting services.
• Collaborate with service teams to support technical issues and guide connectivity best practices.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to resolve network and connectivity issues.
• Ensure systems are resilient and scalable by leveraging networking and automation expertise.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience operating and developing distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in networking fundamentals and internet workings (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS/mTLS, BGP, tunnels, overlays, SDN).
• Intimate familiarity with network design primitives in AWS, Azure, or GCP (VPCs, subnetting, routing, VPNs, peering, private link/service connect, CDN).
• Strong knowledge of service mesh and load-balancing concepts for multi-cloud deployment.
• Experience with automation, preferring automation over manual operations.
• Proficiency with core networking protocols: Tcp/ip, Dns, Bgp.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Aws, Azure, Gcp.
• Familiarity with network constructs like Vpns.
