Description

Own the reliability, availability, and recoverability of Fin Crime and Transaction Monitoring platforms. Define SLIs/SLOs, manage alerting, and drive observability to proactively maintain service health.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 production support for AWS DHP and Oracle-based environments.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and automation systems to reduce operational toil.
• Support incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and lead post-incident reviews.
• Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design reliable, scalable systems and participate in on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience operating production-grade systems with strict reliability requirements.
• Strong knowledge of SRE and observability practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and SLOs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM) and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK/EFK.
• Working knowledge of Oracle platforms and databases in enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OFSAA / Oracle Rules Engine platforms.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Oracle performance tuning, RAC, or RMAN exposure.
