Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of enterprise services, from design and deployment to operation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain distributed systems, databases, message queues, and APIs using SLOs and error budgets.
• Scale systems through scripting and automation to improve operational reliability and velocity.
• Manage day-to-day server administration, storage, network configuration, and application support.
• Lead incident response and conduct blameless postmortems to prevent problem recurrence.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting Linux systems (Red Hat/CentOS, Ubuntu) and VMware environments (ESXi, NSX, vSAN).
• Proficiency with observability platforms such as Elastic or DataDog.
• Knowledge of Unix, VMware, and AWS.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call rotation (approximately one week every two months).
• Physical ability to lift 15+ kilograms when handling storage equipment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in hybrid cloud environments (AWS and Azure) and storage technologies (SAN/NAS).
