Description

You will own platform health and resiliency for distributed multi-tiered systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards using APM tools to monitor system performance.
• Configure alerts and troubleshoot issues using Splunk, GCL, ELK, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage source control with Git, Jenkins, or UCD Release.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell and Ansible playbooks.
• Collaborate with Security, Networking, and Infrastructure teams to resolve platform challenges.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of Software Engineering experience, including 4+ years in Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, algorithms, and both relational (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Experience with caching (Redis, memcache) and messaging tools (MQ, Kafka).
• Proficiency in container orchestration and dynamic resource management using PCF, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with distributed storage technologies like NFS.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
