Description

You will manage the reliability, scalability, and availability of large-scale distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure CI/CD tools for fast, reliable software deployments.
• Develop processes to improve software engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with platform engineering teams to ensure performance, security, and maintainability standards.
• Communicate schedules, priorities, and project status to stakeholders.
• Drive projects to completion using sound planning and data-driven decisions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of related work experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems including Hadoop/HDFS and Kafka.
• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure architecture for scalability.
• Deep experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and operations.
• Expertise in REST/Webservices with a focus on high performance and multi-tenancy.
• Fluency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell) and complex regex.
• Experience with front-end/UI technologies like React or Angular.js.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Data Ingestion, Analytics, and AI on AWS.
• Experience with end-to-end application monitoring, alerting, and data visualization.
